Who I am

Hi, I'm Lap Nguyen — a web developer & founder

I'm a web developer with over eight years of experience, based in Ha Noi, Viet Nam. I started out building and managing WordPress sites, then grew into full-stack development — shipping web apps with React on the front end and Node.js, Express and databases like MySQL, MongoDB and Redis on the back end.

Over the years my role expanded from writing code to leading the people who write it. At CYNO Software I managed delivery for real-world platforms in hospitality, real estate and consumer apps — hotel booking and check-in systems with OCR and AI, a multi-branch karaoke management system, and an AI-powered spam-blocking app. Today I'm the founder and team lead of Web99 Solutions, where I set technical direction and help my team turn ideas into products that ship.

Across all of it, I've delivered hundreds of websites for clients in many industries. I care about clean architecture, honest communication and getting the details right — and I'm always sharpening the craft, including working effectively alongside modern AI tools.

  1. 2011 – 2015

    Hanoi University of Mining and Geology

    Earned my degree and discovered a lasting curiosity for how software is built.

  2. 2017 – 2021

    WordPress Developer · INNOCOM

    Built and managed WordPress sites — custom themes and plugins, e-commerce, responsive design and SEO.

  3. 2021 – 2023

    Web Developer · CODE TOT JSC

    Moved into modern full-stack development with React, PHP and MySQL, plus server management and CI/CD on RunCloud.

  4. 2023 – 2026

    Project Manager · CYNO Software

    Led delivery of web platforms across hospitality, real estate and consumer apps — working hands-on with a Node.js, MongoDB, MySQL and Redis stack.

  5. 2026 – Present

    Founded Web99 Solutions to build web and software products — setting technical direction and leading the team.
